getting a fuzzy dwarf to eat something besides silversides

my fuzzy dwarf was the same way. then one day i was out of silversides so all i fed that day was krill. and my lion ate the krill. ever since then he'd eat both. but it's weird huh.
oh yeah, sometimes i'd put in feeder guppies, he would chase them around and gobble them up. same with ghost shrimp.

Patience is the trick, just let your lion go hungry for a few days and then introduce new foods, my sweetie is so spoiled as soon as I approach the tank he comes over and turns on his back waiting to be hand fed, he eats anything, frozen cubes, pieces of fish, he even now has begun to swim on his back skimming the top for flake. I think all it takes is time once he has been tamed and begins to trust you he will take just about anything.

Wow, you've got that one trained well.
I've had mine about 6 months and she's always swimming up to the corner of the tank when I'm around. She will come out of the water a little bit to get them.

I have had him probably 6 months also but I started hand feeding him from the start, I had to, he is so slow that all of my other piggys would always get the food and he would starve, so I am afraid I spoiled him from the beginning, but since he is my favorite, I kinda like spending time on him
