usually frags are small and i would just inspect the frag really, really well. I am sure everything will be fine.

If its GSP, you will likely get it with just the purple mat. Put the "bumpies" on the mat facing upwards on a rock with a rubber band until it attaches. I honestly would just add it, but if it comes on a rock, inspect it good for aiptasia and the usual.
Lighting doesnt need to be extreme at all. PCs are fine for it. And dont be worried if it takes anywhere from a few hours - 2 weeks to open up.

ok thanks guys. he said i should acclimate it same as a fish. i thought u were only supposed to temp acclimate corals but SWF.com says 1 hour acclimating time for GSP. do you all agree with that?

i hv never spend more than 30 minutes acclimating corals. the gsp likes medium light and flow. try not to let any dirt or detritus falling on top of the gsp. with time, it will spread fast. here is a pic of mine.
