My clown wont host. I have plenty of corals (no anenome). How come he wont choose xenia or something. Does putting a picture up really work? Suggestions?

What type of clown do you have ? How long have you had the clown ?There is no guaranty they will host anything . Some will host within hours , months , or never .

Exactly. Nothing you can do.
From what I've read wild caught Clowns tend to host more frequently. My cultured clowns took about 6 months to host.

Thats what I was thinking. Tank bred arnt used to anenomes unless since babies they were introduced, but that would be rare. I guess I will sit and wait. Its so neat to see them play around in them though.

Mine hosts featherdusters and mushrooms. Never went near my LTA. It took them about a 4-5 months to start with the featherduster. I moved the tank into a larger one and it again took them another 3-4 months to "re-figure it" out. Ha!
