Getting Frustrated

So I have a 16 gallon bow front that I have been wanting to turn into my odd things tank. I would like to put one of the following fish waspfish (perhaps a pair), leaf scorps (perhaps a pair), Scorapaenodes carribaeus, Sebastapistes cyanostigma, or a pygmy angler. The dilemma is that I cannot find the fish anywhere. Is there a certain time of year that these fish are available? Can someone nudge me in the right direction?

Some fish do depend on the time of year. I'm not sure about those specific fish though. If you can't find it online, check with your local fish store and maybe put in a special order

I don't have a LFS. I'll try emailing some sites to see if/when they have them available. I might just have to turn this tank into a cold water tank and do a pair of seahorses with a catalina goby.

in 16 gallons.......
as you mentioned only a pair of hawaiian leaf fish, but thats about it. maybe a pygmy angler- but again- 16 gals is awefully small
AS for looking for these fish- they come in-when they come in- a number of online vendors get leaffish, as for waspfish and rhinopias. Im aware of the 299.00 listed above-but these are pricey rare fish, and not suitable for a 16 gal tank

Oh ... wow. I completely overlooked how many gallons your tank was. I could have sworn I read 36g.
Sorry, but I agree with the above poster on this one. Your tank isn't big enough for a scorp, wasp, or rhinopia. Could you set up anything larger?

While I appreciate the concern for the stocking choices, but I have received some quality advice from my fellow hobbyists who helped suggest the fish listed in my initial post. I am not going to add the rhino, due to its size requirement. I am more interested in keeping a pair of red pygmy rooster waspfish or a pair of leaf fish. Currently I am only able to work with a 16 gallon.

A pair of leaf fish would be alright for that tank. Post pics when you can!
I can post pics of an empty tank, but that is just dull and boring. I might just break the tank down and get rid of it. There is no point in keeping it running and having it be fish less. I am thinking of going in a different direction.
