Getting my horses tomorrow
(traded some frags to a buddy he's bringing them to me monday) I've been prepping my tank this weekend removing inhabitants that aren't good tank mates i.e. urchin crabs etc., but the few small rock anenomes are giving me a little trouble anyone got any ideas on how to get this guy out. hes footed between a rock and a mullusk of some sort and i don't wanna kill the baby corals on the mullusk or the mullusk itself as i fear it would foul my tank. Removeing the mullusk isn't going to be an option as it is footed so well to the 7-8 lb rock that on occasion it moves the rock any help would be wonderful thanks in advance happy reefing

Well, it really depends how badly you want the little guy off the rock. If it were me, I'd take the LR with the critter and exchange it for some LR with out hazordous critters attached

no way your gonna get off the anemones, but they defiantly have to go, mine has eaten 2 cleaner shrimp, SH wouldn't last a day.

You now have spores. Sorry? I think even if you remove the aiptasia you see, there are others hidden. But, if you get a peppermint shrimp (pick a big one) , it will eat them. Babies, spores and all. I have read some people have not had success with P shrimps, but I have always had them eat them. Sometimes they don't like the big ones, but if the shrimp is hungry, and you feed the aiptasia a bit, the shrimp will rip open the aiptasia to get the shrimp. Then, he will finish off the aiptasia!
You can feed the aiptasia kalkwasser paste (AKA Joes juice) and it will die, but it will throw hundreds of spores into the tank.
I have a peppermint shrimp in all my tanks, except my butterfly tank. Butterflies think any polyp is candy...
