getting one soon!

What is the best 8 gallon naon to get? I have a large tank going for 4 years but my gf wants her own tank to learn the ropes of saltwater.

I just have a normal 10 gallon tank I made to a nano tank. I like it and this way I can do what I want to it. I think a 20g long tank would be a cool tank to do though. This way you decide everything like lights, flow, etc.

well space in my apartment is killing me and my desk can handle only up to a 8 gallon tank. Is the Bio Cube Nano System 8 a good system to go with? Any upgrades to make on it?

Nanos are MORE work than larger tanks. I think you may be better giving your gf your tank and YOU manage the tiny nano. Just a thought. It may keep you from a bunch of frustration. I dont know.

i knew that i was going to be the one doing the work 95% of the time. she been learning off the big one. She want her own tank to put stuff in it which is a few small small fish and some corals.

I have heard great reviews on all of them, i dont have personal experience though. A lot of people like to do "mods" or make adjustments to the tanks such as adding more light, change the filter chambers around, or change the stock pump to improve the tanks. I would recommend going with one. While smaller tanks are harder to take care of in someways such as making sure you keep on your top offs and such, I believe they are easier. ie: your not doing 20 gallon water changes at a time, rather only 1 gallon or so.
