we have a head of ricordia and i stuck it into a depression in our live rock. it seems to keep moving around in the depression and isnt attaching to the rock. maybe it doesnt like the spot? its about mid level in the tank under low lighting.
any tricks to get it to attach? elastics or netting wont work cus the piece of live rock is far too big. i tried putting little pieces of plastic tie into the depression to secure it but it always seems to wiggle out.

Usually they will move around until they find a spot that is comfortable to them. I had a BTA that moved around my tank for 2 weeks knocking everything over, but ended finded a spot that he liked and stayed there for a while.

use the same technique you would use to try to attach mushrooms.
put them in a tupperwear container with holes in the sides for flow and a mesh top instead of the lid and stick in on a piece of rubble. Then glue the rubble where ever you want it.
