do regular water changes, feed less, cut down on your lighting a bit.. maybe try one of those phosphate absorbing bags.

How long has your tank been set up? It could be your diatom bloom (brownish stuff) which is normal and will go away on its own over time. Also, keep adequate flow and avoid dead spots in your tank.

well it was going as a FO for bout 5 months then we overloaded it and all died.
so now we bought LR and a skimmer and added the CC and the two new fishes and all the levels are doing good. i know it isn;t from feeding to much cause i have rarely been feeding it with just the cc in it. but we do keep the lights on a lil too much. and i think when we get the mulah we have to buy some more testing kits.
do u think it's normal?
