Getting Started --- 125 gallon tank

HI There,
I'm new to the message board and just getting started. I've got a 125 gallon tank that I've placed in a wall seperating my family room and exercise room. My wife went crazy taking photos so, I'll post pictures later.
I just got a Pro Clear Wet/Dry Filter and this guy at the Aquarium Center thinks I should drill two holes in my tank to prevent air bubbles. Any thoughts?
Once I figure out how to decrease my photo size, I'll start posting them here.

Thanks!

I'd really like to have a fish and reef tank, but the lights for the corals might kill me. I'm still trying to decide. I'm going to atleast get some live rock for the tank. If I do that, I think I'll have to remove the bio-balls from my wet/dry filter. I'll keep you posted. :joy:

Tank Update:
I added crushed coral to my tank last night.

Although my wife went crazy with the camera again, it doesn't make sense to post pics of a cloudy tank. Shhhhh, Don't tell her I said that.

Here are some recent photos. I currently have 50 lbs. of LR, a few shrooms, two damsels, 6 hermit crabs, and an arrow crab in the tank:

Thanks. :joy:
I just ordered some more LR and I know my levels are going to spike so I'm trying to hold off before I add any more LS.
For lights I got: HIGH COMPACT LIGHT 72" JEBO 384 WATT W/FANS
I'll take some pics of the back of the tank tonight and post tomorrow.

Looking real good but that crushed coral might haunt you later. It will not stay white and will trap alot of detrius.

Thanks for the feedback. I went through an entire string re: Crushed Coral vs. Live Sand. I think it really boils down to having a good clean-up crew and not having a deep bed.
Only time will tell. I might be:
later, but for now I'm

The tank loks awesome, I would put a blue pr black backround on it though to hide the hob overflow box in the corner. Looks amazing though.
