Ok so I soaked my purigen bag in half half water and bleach like it said, but then I am supposed to soak it in water with like water conditioner? I used Amquail water conditioner is that correct?
I am not putting it back in my filter until I know a good answer because I know bleach residue would wipe my whole tank out.

Use something like Seachem's Prime. Some conditioners (the slimy stuff) can permanently damage the purigen. This is per the instructions.
As a side note...I have done this step with Prime, many many times...no problem

The Kordon Amquel Plus is not like the other cheap water conditioners and is watery in consistancy unlike the other thick slimy kinds so would this still be ok?
There is two different kinds of Kordon Amquel and one of their conditioners is slimy but this Plus kind is not. I guess the other one has a slim coat for the fish added to it or something.

I have never used that brand myself. I would rub a little between my fingers, and if it does not have an oily like consistency I would think it ok to use. JMHO. After you are done letting it soak, so long as it does not smell like chorine, or obviously bleach, you should be good to go
