Gfci

I was going to install a GFCI in the wall but decided against it as my wife has decided the tank looks better on a different wall before. :D
So I made a plug in GFCI w/a switch!

Not a big deal but I thought it was neat.

Excuse the poor drawing and substitute white for blue for the wires

Parts
Grounded switch ~2.00
GFCI Plug ~5.00
Remolded box~2.00
8” x 6” x 3” Project box from Radio Shack $5.99
Old Computer Pluglying around the house.
Total~$14.99
Basically I had an old computer plug that I cut the end off of and used as the power cord. Ina remodel box I wired up the black to the switch then out the other post on the switch to the GFCI. I wired the green to the switch and then over to the GFCI. I wired the white to the GFCI. I then got a project box at Radio Shack and cut a whole just large enough to insert the remodel box on the back. I then just mounted the remodel box and put the back on the box.
If anyone has questions or wants better details let me know.
