Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them, I am worried a friend in the hobby has told me to get rid of it or be willing to lose a coral every now and then is this true?

I like mine-very pretty with the polyps waving in the breeze, seems peacful. Of course I keep mine, and my other corals, apart from other corals so that nobody can reach out and touch their neighbors-Good policy w/any coral.
