Glass algae, normal?

Well after about a week my diatom seems to be subsiding.. But instead of brownish red algae on the glass its green... Its so eye unpleasant.. WIll this go away as well? I have a 46 gallon bow with an orbit 192 watt fixture over it.. I run the acintics for about 12 hours a day and the daylights about 9 hours a day....
I use no filtration at all just LR and HOB filters for circulation and turnover.. I also have two powerheads in the tank.. The thing that stinks is when you use an algae scrapper to scrape this stuff it just clouds the tank.. Seeing how theres no filtration to catch it....
What do others do? Do any of you get algae on your glass? Its almost dusty....When I run the magnetic scrapper over it, it just dust's right off... Its not hard algae....
I am working on a 20 gallon sump for under the tank.. I will have a micron type filter in there to catch stuff.. But till then? What should I do? Just let this run its course? Will it go away..
I am using RO water for water changes.. Salt added of course..lol. I add at water changes about a teaspoon of coralife calcium and iodine.. But that is it.. I feed every three days...And not heavy at all... When I do the water changes I do a 5 gallon water change and slowly siphon off the sand bed just to get the floating crap off the bed... Not digging into it...
Any ideas and maybee share what you guys do??? I just hate looking at a cloudy tank... Argg... What about carbon? Should I run any at all in one of the HOB's, would this help at all? Just curious???
Thanks

I always get algae on my glass, just gotta clean it off every couple days. As for the clouding, it should go away when you get some sort of medium to catch it. Just out of curiosity are you adding calcium and iodine for corals?

Mana-
I have some polyps, and xenia in the tank.. Not alot.. I only add the calcium for that reason.. I add the iodine for the snails and such.. I have about 60 snails in the tank.. But they are only about the size of a dime and don't do all that much for the tank..
As for the "Snowing"?No the liquid is clear and when I add it.. It is the liquid calcium in a bottle made by coralife.... I only add about a teaspoon when I do a water change every week.. Although I do not have a calcium test kit.. Shame on me.. I know..... I do this by hope that I am hit or missing by adding it.. I know the salt replenish has calcium in it.. I use Instant Ocean brand salt if that helps...
I have an aquaclear 200 on the tank as one of the HOB's for circulation.. Maybee I should get some medium to put in it? My buddy has a huge pond supply company here on the eastcoast.. I should visit him and pick up a piece of micron sponge to just sit in the filter to catch the debris.. Then remove it when it clears...
What do you think?
