Glass Algae Problems

I currently have a bloom of both green and brown algae on my glass. Some of the green algae is growing in little tufts, which looks kinda cool but I definately want to get rid of it. I have added around 15 margarite snails, but they do not seem to be acclimating well (most keep flipping upside down). What is a good solution to getting rid of this algae? And whats up with the snails, I acclimated them for 3 hours and they all were moving around and looked very healthy in the bucket, but once I added them to the display they can't stay upright. All my water params are good (nit 0, trate 0, ammonia 0) and I dont have any copper.

Maybe a few mexican turbo snails might help you with that. If they fall to the bottom and they can not get going again help them get straight. Otherwise they will starve and die.
