I have one aipstasia(sp?). I squirted it with super hot water twice yesterday, but it seems to be back(irritating my new coral
). Does anyone know how many applications are necessary to
the little jerk?
I'd rather not use joes juice or kalkwasser if I can help it. If hot water won't work, I may get a peppermint shrimp.

Hot water never worked for me. Joe's juice is fine as long as you don't over do it and swish the excess into the water.
Peppermint shrimp are another good alternative. One-time application and they'll take care of any new aiptasia that come up.

ugh I'll trade ya I got a ton of aiptasia! can u just take the rock out and do a fresh water rinse? or u can try to pick it off but get ALL of it with tweezers? good luck do not let it spread! I didnt' know what they were at first but now know what a PIA they are LOL

It's about 90% sure that if you try to pull it off with tweezers, you will spread it. Depending on it's size and breeding ability, if you squirt it, it might spread it. Easiest form of eradication would be the appropriate peppermint shrimp.
