Is it an Aptasia? If so peppermint shrimp will take care of the problem for you!

peppermint shrimp a lot of people use but not all are effective. i tried one and he didn't touch the aptasia at all instead he got a taste for my feather dusters. copperband butterflies are supposed to eat aptasia also. i finally got rid of mine by using kalkwasser and a syringe. i had 3 of them growing and it took care of all 3

I had great luck with peppermint shrimp- bought 3 when i first had an outbreak, and have not seen one since. The peppermint shrimp are fun to watch too-- just this past weekend, i noticed that one is carrying eggs!
