Glass Canopy doesnt fit

They(2x24 AGA) are a little too long to fit on my 55g .Can I just cut them down to size? If so how?

If they are the only covers that you have for your tank, then yes, you could cut them if you know how to do it. But if you have anykind of other cover i would not reccomend using glass tops because they trap heat and distort light entering the tank, kinda like a filter.

my glass canopies didnt fit either. I cut some eggcrate up and used it instead.

I took them to a glass selling business and they cut them. I needed the glass canopies because I got new lites. Thanx 4 the relpies.
