glass or acrylic or plexiglass

hey guys i just got my new protein skimmer today and it doesnt fit in my sump so i am going to have to change to a fuge sooner than expected and i have one question... what should the baffles in the fuge be made out of and the skimmer should go before the actual fuge correct??

the baffles should be made of the same material as the sump. Glass to glass using silicon or acrylic to acrylic using weld-on 4.
