I am wanting to upgrade to a new tank. Should a go with the tennecor 100 gallon acrylic or the 100 all-glass?

if yopu are going to go glass make sure you get it driller. that is the only real problems with all glass tanks. so if it is drilled i would go glass instead of acrylic.

I'm getting a 240 acrylic because i'll be damned if i'm gonna haul a glass tank, not to mention acrylic tank has a lifetime warranty and is guaranteed not to leak. ;) And yes, the scratches ARE removable. And yes, acrylic is 20 times clearer than glass.

I would go with glass in a smaller tank, but for larger tanks i would probably choose acrylic. For the record, Acrylic lets in 12% more white light in then glass, and glass is about 1.5 times heavier then acrylic. Dont forget that acrylic is also not prone to crack and shatter like glass. But....the 12% in light means nothing when the tank is filled up, you only move you tank once in most cases (besides a little extra weight will help your muscles, and small tanks are not bad empty anyway), and cracking is only bad if you've got drunken friends over or a mantis shrimp (get rid of both and problem solved.)
Bottom line....acrylics selling point is the weight (a factor for larger tanks), and ability to be molded however the heck you want it

Well I went with the 100 gallon glass. I the tank, wood stand and some lights for $399.00. I happen to go the right place on the right day. They had everything like 10% off and tanks were more than that if you bought a stand. I just finished setting up the sump and everything. I will get some pics up as soon as possible. I currently have a mag 7 pump, what should I upgrade to?

One very important thing that has been left out of ths discussion. Over tiem, UV light (yes, it's generated in most light bulbs, and certainly the sun) will cause acryllic to "fade". It's literally turns yellowish. There is no way to reverse that process, or reapir it, other than get a new tank.
I voted glass, just my preference.
