glass top question

wonder if you guys can help me with this. I was cleaning my tank today and the strip that connects the two pieces of glass together on one of my glass tops peeled off. What is the best thing to use to but them back together. Thanks i really would appreciate all of your help and advice.

aw geez wamp, I dunno 'bout you but I don't buy new till the old is fubar!....lol It's the little challenges that get's my "McGvyer" blood flowing.
Pancho, assuming the plastic hinge thingie didn't actually break, but instead just has lost the tension to hold on to the edge of the glass... I have run a very thin small bead of silicone along the edge of the glass then slid the glass back into the hinge.... this worked on mine for like months till the damn thing split at the hinge from sheer wear, THEN I went and bought a new plastic thingie! <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

This happened to me as I was cleaning the glass one day, and I felt like crap, thinking I had ruined the glass, and just wasted money. Then I simply put the glass back into the strip, and the thing re-suctioned or whatever, and it has never happened again. I even pulled the other piece of glass out to clean it, no problems though. HTH
