Are you gluing regular PVC? Is the glue your using for PVC or something on line of ABS or such? Regular PVC type glue you can honestly give it and hour tops and put it into service....I usually run a little water through the pipe though.
You should be good....have you ever dripped PVC glue inside your tank or in water??? I've knocked a can of PVC glue over into a tank while the tank was fully stocked and running.....

Nothing ba actually!!! The glue clumped up on the water surface and was able to scoop it out easily, but I also run carbon, which would have helped with bad toxin, so another reason to run carbon.
The rain or shine stuff actually is good to use in minutes. It's designed for making emergency repairs on plumbing that you really need to keep or get back in service asap.
Sorry, I probably should have asked if this was drain pipe or return pipe but I think you are using pvc for both. Drain pipe with any pvc cement you can pretty much put in operation after about 15 minutes. On return plumbing that is going to be putting the pipe under pressure wait 4 hours. I'm probably a little late to this party though.
It comes apart so easy, even a tiny bump. I didn't glue my spray bar made of PVC, I bumped it puttig on my lights and it came apart and fell. But that wasn't any big deal. However I can't imagine with the way you guys do everything in PVC not gluing it.
