Gobie Question

Hello, I'm totally new to this Messege Board, and I have a really quick question about a gobie I saw at my local pet store. It is the type of gobie that sifts through the sand and drops it out of the bottom of his mouth (eating the algae off the sand). What is the common name for this gobie?

Hey,
I believe I've seen one that's called a Diamond Gobie that does that. It was white with gold specks.

yes, the tiger and dragon gobies are also good sand sifters. there are probably more than those also.

Anybody else have any ideas?

My watchman occasionally sifts as well.

My blue cheek goby sifts sand as well. He is all white exept for neon blue and yellow lines on his cheeks. He does a pretty good job cleaning the sand but is a little skittish when someone walks up to the tank.
