goby suicide

So I come hme from work yesturday and notice the level in my 24 nanocube is low. I opened the hood and notice the back chambers are way to full. The pump in the 3rd chamber is running but not pumping water, so I unplug it and disconnect the hose. I take the pump out and stuck in the inlet is my pink spotted goby.

I know these guys are jumpers, but I didn't think there was room for him to fit between the hood and the back wall. Live and learn I guess.

My clown does the same thing but he ends up in with the sponge all the time. My intake in down and covered anyway so dont think he can get down in there to the intake. sorry for your lose
