I have a 24'' 250 watt 6500k metal halide bulb retrofit kit with 2x55 watt of actinics. I have a 92 reef, and i have that retrofit kit in front, as well as a 24'' coralife pc lighting that has 2x 65 watts, with one white, and blue light. I was thinking of replacing the coralife light with another MH retrofit kit that is the exact same one i currently have. I was thinking of switching my current MH bulb to a 10k, and the new MH that i was thinking of getting also a 10k. I will buy about another 3 fans, and keep it ventilated well. The only problem is.. is that the MH that will be placed behind my current one is at the back of the tank, were there is only once coral under it.
I was thinking on the second retro kit to have also a 250 watt MH bulb( 10k), with a blue, and white light, instead of just a blue and blue like i have now. Is this a good plan? Any suggestions?

i never really found and benefit to running white pc bulbs with MH so i would convert all the current pc's into actinic (which will be great for color) and then get the other MH and switch to either 10k's or 14k hamiltons
