ok iam goin on vacation for about a week.And if i feed my eel before i go will he be fine?And one more thing,should i be feeding my lionfish every other day?

I feed my lion every time I feed the sharks (Mon, Wed, Fri). I think youll have to find someone you trust to come in and feed the eel at least twice when you are gone. Dont forget to have some water pre-mixed and ready to go to replace for evaporation that will occur when away. SHOW this person how to do it. When I went away earlier this year, the person I chose to look over my tanks didnt top off the 125, so the sump went dry and burned up my two 700 gal/hr pumps.

whereas they CAN go a week without eating, I wouldn't do it if you can help it. The eel is fine if he's been well fed for weeks, the lion I'm a little more worried about, either way, try your best to find someone to take care of your tank.

Make little bags or containers and label them when they should be used. This will eliminate confusion and then no one will forget what to do.
