going over to T5s

i have a 210 gal with 3 250wat mh. Im tired of the high bill and the heat. So im thinking of switching over to T5s. ive looked at alot of things and making them myself seems like alot of $$$ with the (end caps, reflectors, icecap, etc). So then i saw the 72" Nova Extreme Pro 12x39watt.... would this work for some sps? any help would be great.

IMO, unless you're only keeping softies and LPS, the Pro wouldn't cut it. It's a decent fixture, but a 210 is very deep. The Aquactinics Constellation would give you a little more wiggle room, or two 36" 6-bulb Icecap retros with IC ballasts would let you have more freedom of where you could keep things.

A 210 is like 30" tall isn't it?, if you keep SPS in the tank they will need to be in the upper half. On my 22" tall tank a 54 watt Nova Pro put PAR in the low 200's to the sandbed 17" below the lights. Thats a bit low for a lot of SPS.
