GOING TO ADD L/S TONIGHT

I am going to get 20# of live sand tonight. I really don't have a substrate in now. Is the funnel method the best without having to remove my fish and shrimp?

If you are getting bagged WET live sand,then just wipe off the outside of the bag.Carefully slit the top open from end to end.Put the whole bag into the water.Then just turn it over and shake it into place.This sounds crazy,but believe me it is the BEST/easiest way to do it.The sand will come right out,and not leave a single grain in the bag...This is the only way I have ever done it...
