Going to move fish to q-tank

I am going to move all of my fish to my q-tank. Currently one of them has ich. Question is if the tank is big enough. I have a 10 gallon. The fish I have are 1 bengaii cardinal 2", 1 sailfin blenny 4", and one powder brown tang 3". I have in the q-tank one maroon clown 3". Over how long a period of time should I move the fish. The tank is well cycled. Its been running for about 2 months.

Hi:
May iIask why you want to move them, is someone sick?
Your 10gal tank will be a bit cramped, which may induce a little stress (which is what you don't want). You can add plastic decorations(I use PVC pipe cutouts)in this tank to providing hiding areas for the fish.
You can quarentine the small fish in the 10, But once you add three fish keep a watchful on the water paramters, 3 fish in this tank will quickly change the water quality. As far as the powder brown (I assume this is the sick fish-as these are known ich magnets), maybe place him in a seperate tank for quarentine.
The alternative of course is to place them in the 10gal, and keep and eye out for 3 things 1)-water quality issues in the q tank, 2)-fighting, and 3)- whether or not the disease to be treated is going away.
Is there a way of getting a rubbermaid 30gal tub, and using this as a q-tank instead? ($7bux at supertarget)

I have another tank, but it has not cycled yet. The powder brown is the fish that has ich. Currently he is in the q-tank with the maroon clown. There are peices of dead coral in the q-tank for them to hide. I can wait on moving the other fish, as they currently show no signs of ich. My other tank should be completed cycling within a week. If I use a rubbermaid container what do I place in for filtration? I do have plenty of extra heaters, and air pumps. If the other fish do not show signs of ich should I still move them when the other tank cycles?

Right now I have a new filter that has never been used. Since my other tank has not completed cycling what should I do? Should I setup the rubbermaid with filter, heater, and air pump then just do water changes to keep the levels down?

One other question? I have a frshwater tank that I have twice as much filtration running and I have been considering removing 1 of the filters. If I did this would that filter need to be recycled for saltwater? Could I use this filter on a new tank then I wouldn't need to cycle?
