Would a pair of gold stripe maroon clowns get too big for a 10 gallon tank?
If so, how long would it be until they outgrow it?

They will definatly out grow it. I have juvenile two band in my 16 gallon right now in within 6 months he has almost doubled in size. I think in another year he will need a larger home. How large are the fish now? Do you already have the tank or are you just considering it? Unless these maroons are very small I wouldn't put them in a 10 even unless you can upgrade withinn six months or so.

We have a gold striped maroon clown in our 29 gallon with a bicolor blenny, a yellow tailed damsel, and a chalk basslet. He's just about always at the top of the tank swimming around when the lights are on. They all seem to get along okay.
