golden headed goby problem

i just got a golden headed goby and he went straight under my rock i haven't seen him for a day since i bought him

is this normal i literally have not seen him at all and have checked the entire vicinity for him jumping out

sorry to comment on my own thread so much without a reply but isnt it not normal for him to burrow and be under so much? isnt he supposed to be very active?

its not uncommon. Sometimes fish like to hide until they are comfortable.
What size tank, how many other fish in the tank?????

+1....when I first got mine, it seemed like all I did was search for it...LOL...Now it is out all the time

It took mine a week and a half before he felt secure enough to come out. So don't worry it's very normal.

he came out a little but i was just worried he jumped out through a small hole
what plant would be good in a refugium for him?
