Golden headed sleeper goby

One of my golden headed sleeper gobies is acting weird. I just paired them up and they seem to like each other. I was wondering if anyone had any info on mating behavior

When you say he is acting weird, what do you mean by that? What type of behaviour?

It is getting darker color. And has secluded itself from the other sleeper goby at night. When the lights are on they are always together. And it excavated this huge new house
