golden tail morey

Is there a difference between golden tail and just gold morey eels? Are the golded tail moreys aggresive or passive?

i think they are both the same species, Gymnothorax miliaris. they are a great species of eel, very much worth their high price. bo

Having one of the so called golden tails I can tell you they are mellow and very mobile eels. Mine swims around my 135 for a bit every so often then goes under its rock it took as a home (displacing a poor fish who had that spot for year). It does not bother nor is it bothered by its tankmates who give it a wide berth when it is out.

How big do they get? Zebra sized or Snow flake, etc? What can I feed her/him if I buy?
