LOL, my husband and father fix and sell them, insane prices for those things. Have you seen the car kits they put on them? LOL
If you really seriously want one, they could probably help you find a decent one for cheaper.

Check out Craigslist for Phoenix, Tucson and Sierra Vista, Az. $300-$1000 for good running carts. Probably cause of all the blue hairs. But they can be ran on any street or highway, except for the freeways here.

What you're seeing is truly supply and demand. Just imagine if used golf carts were like only 900 for nice ones, every other house would have two... Part of the problem is the large fleets and rental companies, never end up letting go of their carts. I remember back in school we wanted one to drive from our house onto campus for tailgates for football. We went to a couple places, all of them were only selling new, slightly used carts. We wanted a more used fix-er-upper, which they had (all of the places had several with weeds growing on them), but everytime "those are part of our rental fleet."

I was going say look at a Mule or Rhino, but they're worse then golf carts...
Did you have r/cs before, or would a new one be your first? (big into r/cs myself)

i have had heli's but nothing big.i was thinking of a align 500 but my friend says they cost alot to fix every crash.he has $25,000 in heli's .he is prety damn good with them.he has cameras in them and also lights in the blades that spell out words as they fly.cool stuff.i have a good simulater i play with.never had a truck though.now we are on 6 acres that is pretty flat and open so a truck would be fun.looks like a good truck cost more than the helis do.
