Is there anyone in the Illinois area that is looking for a nice Goniopora/Flowerpot?
I have a 10 gallon tank. When completely retracted, the hard shell is approximately 3" wide. However, when fully extended, the arms make the Goni over 8" wide.
As you may have guessed, this is entirely too big for a 10 gallon tank.
I've had the Goni for about 4 months, and as far as I can tell, it is in great conidtion. The inner shell is practically a perfect sphere, not egg like at all. The arms are a light redish brown and the tips of the neon green/yellow.
I would post a pic, but I lack a digital camera.
If anyone around me (Evanston, IL) is looking to buy or trade this Goni for real cheap, let me know.
Regardless, I'm gonna have to get rid of this, as it takes up so much of my tank space, and I'd hate to have to sell it to an LFS for $5 who will turn around and sell it for some ridiculous price like $50.
