Good Deal?

Hey guys:
I saw an ad for a 75 gallon tank/stand/canopy deal for $200, I think this is a good deal considering the tank alone in an LFS is around $175.
Do you think I should get it?

Quick note, forgot to mention that this tank has never been used. The guy is moving, and never got a chance to set it up.

My LFS has a 75 gallon tank with glass top for $105.00. They also sell a stand for $79.00 but it is not wood- it is made out of metal. (it is strong enough to hold a car, but not very pretty... ) So if you the stand is wood and nice, you are probably getting a great deal! most nice wood stands in the Buffalo area seem to start at $200+

I would jump at it....You say it is new, if it has never had water in it I wouldn't worry about resealing it, but if it has ever had water in it I would go ahead and seal it, the seals tend to dry up and crack. Sounds like a great deal to me...Later Lisa

I haven't heard of Mercy Me. I have MWS, and BTR, but thats it.
What kind of band are they? I'll have to check them out.
If you pay for half, we could probably "share" the tank
