good deal?`

hey everyone.. i was just wondring if this was a good deal today i went to my LFS and i saw an 8 lb. peice of LR with a colony of about 6 button polyps and some small ass. dusters. and nice color. for 5$ a LB. (its fiji live rock) (cured) he just gave me a deal on it.. so do you guys think it was a good deal? just let me know

thats what the so called LR around here is going for but very very seldom is anything growing on the rock. including coraline algae.
I think it was a pretty fair deal for arounf here anyway.,
what is the normal price for LR there??

yeah most of the live rock here is going for anout 7.00 a Lb for nice rocks...most all the rock has coraline little sponges plants LOADS of life... this is in fla. to day the least GOOD ROCK

i would say its a good deal, likewise i pay about 6.00 bucks a pound for live rock with not to much life to it. you really have to look for the good pieces.
