Good Idea or No?

Okay, so instead of trying to fully stock my dad's 72 quickly, I think I am going to take my time and purchase things that would help out in the long run.
Yesterday I bought 6 Turbo Snails, because... ...I felt like it, that's why!
Anyhow, as most of you know (who keep tabs on me, that is) that we've got three Chromis, one False Percula, one Firefish and one Neon Goby.
...I was thinking...
I think it would be cool to buy a couple packs of copepods (sp?) and put them in there, let them breed and whatnot. Would it be a good idea?

Yes definetly, It's never a bad idea.
Actually it should be a ritual.(every 6-12 months)

i was thinking about geting them but i read in these forums alot of people try to get rid of them for one reason or another....

Huh? Can you point me to a thread where anyone wants to get rid of them? There must be some mistake.
Sure, add away.
My suggestion, however, instead of spending your money on them would be to order some fresh live sand. You'll get a lot more critters.

i mustve been mistaken i m sure... sorry for the confusion! and fresh live sand same thing as the live sand bags u get at the local lfs?

No, not at all. True live sand comes fresh from the ocean and comes packed with critters. The bagged stuff may have some bacteria.

based on that i guess that true live sand is better? also what does (sp?) mean?
