Good LFS on Long Island

I am in Deer Park Long Island (New York). No the water isn't really that good

The lfs in my area are horrible. The only exception that I've been able to find is South Shore Tropicals in West Babylon. For all you locals, they used to own Charlies Aquarium in Lindenhurst. I work in Englewood Cliffs NJ so anything in between the two would be great.

on the sunrise highway there is a petstore called pets warehouse great selection of fish and cheap toooooo

Yeah, I've been there. The stock is good, however, the help leaves a lot to be desired. I've also been to BTJ's but they don't have much since their original store burnt down in the spring. Selmer's in Huntington isn't too bad, just not that much of a selection. Forget about the usual, *****, Petland etc they all s*ck!

Oh yeah, A lotta Fish in Babylon Village has a really large selection. I need to go back there and talk to them some more. I haven't gotten a good feel for them yet.

i've been all over the island also, pets warehouse def has the healthiest and best selection w/ great prices!!! the one in ronkonkoma sux and so do all the others.. the fish they get are all dull colored and ugly!!!!!

you could try country critters in patchoque ,aqua hut coram,brians rocky point.
