Just wanted to wish all the S. Florida people and their tanks good luck with Fay. Wishing all of us clear skies and no hurricane!

Yea so true, good luck to everyone. Esp you peef, youre on the islands. Make sure youre generators/battery powered pumps are working!!!
And if the power does go out, look on the bright side, a few days of darkness will kill any photosynthetic baddies (like dinos) and your corals *should* be ok.

This is my first tropical storm. I'm used to tornados and floods though, I just moved to florida from indiana. But I'm hoping up here we won't get as bad.

Thanks guys! I have four bat powered pumps so that should be enough. I just hope the temp wont be a problem......maybe buy a gen tomorrow.

I'm ready. Got a few jugs of gas for the generator, about 20 gallons of water and some food. Also topped off the gas in the cars. I wish I had more time to get a battery operated air pump for my tanks.

Some rain bands just rolled in. We are used to it around here.

Yea we got the bands this morning too, still got the tail ends of em. No big deal, just an inside day.
