Good or Bad?? Help

nothin to worry about. looks as though they are just a couple of sea stars of some type, if anything they will help clean up your tank.

That is a Asterina star. They are harmless and beneficial. They eat Coraline algae.

A good part of my rock is white, are these the critters responsible? I do have many of them on the glass from time to time. The picture is a large example many of the others are much smaller.

I didn't know what these were called until I read this thread. I have a ton of these in my tank also. I Googled the name and found many websites that say these could bother/eat/hurt many corals, the major names were polyps, zoos and some leather corals. I think I will do a little more research and maybe get one of those starfish eating shrimp. This might be the reason I have never been able to grow zoos or polyps

asterinas that bother corals are very uncommon. more than likely, there is another issue.

I had a few of these, now I have hundreds!!! These things multiply so quick!!!

Yeah, nothing to worry about.
If you have an acrylic tank make sure there aren't any between your cleaning magnet and tank. Major scratching.

ive herd that they eat coral

ive also herd that any starfish with thick legs eat coral.
