using macro settings on digital cameras, through the glass. It takes tons of patience and fiddling with the settings, and usually takes a few dozen shots to get the picture you want. All boils down to a lot of patience.

I use a macro setting. But since my tank is a bowfront, I can't really take shots that aren't looking directly straight to the glass, so I just switch to the manual setting.
