Good sand?

Can anyone tell me if Aragamax sugar sized sand is good for a FOWLR tank?

Sure... its very soft, silky almost

fine sand looks really nice when it's clean.
But you will have a hard time vacuum fish waste out of fine sand when you do clean the tank cuz it's very light wt. You sand will go into your vacuum tube before fish waste.
I use Reef Aroganite. It's easy to clean.

I was told never to vacuum sand. You can cause a spike in your levels and potentially harm your livestock.

you don't do deep vacuum. Surface only.

Aragonite is best for any SW system, grain size depends on livestock/current...shifters and burriers should have a finer size but blown around easy in strong current like a reef or small tank....Should not need to vacume a healthy system.

until I find some creatures that would take care of my Blenny's waste, I still need to sand surface clean up every week.
Blennies eat all day and poop all day.
