Good skimmer for 60g reef??

I have been out of the loop for about 3 years now and before I left ASM was one of the top contenders in the skimmer world....wondering if they are still a top dog or if someone has taken their place???
I am looking for a GOOD skimmer on my 60g reef. I plan on having 100# of rock with sps, zoo's, 1 piece (if any) LPS, clams, and at most, 3 fish.

Hey Whyamisofl,
I did a bunch of research on skimmers several months ago. I needed a hang-on type and eventually ended up with a CPR Bakpak2 skimmer. It is working great for me plus it has 'bio-bale' which provides a boost in the way of biological filtration.

Thanks for the input, but I guess I forgot to mention that I do not want a hang on type. I am looking for the in-sump style

I am using an octopus nw 150 on my 65 gal. with sump. Best bang for the buck , for sure. I modded mine with a diy venturi, larger airline and mesh mod the impellar for about $10 and now it pulls 3 times the air as stock.
