I am starting my fish saltwater tank it is almost complete in the cycle process setup! setup! it is a 29 gallon tank with 30 pounds of Natures Ocean live sand. 26 pounds of live rock from my local marine store, a fake coral insert a Marineland Bio-Wheel penguin 200 filter, a Marineland Maxi-jet 400 powerhead, a Topfin 150 Watt submergible heater, and a Marineland Hood with LED light system. Is this a good stock for my tank?
Coral beauty Angel
Firefish Goby
Occellaris Clown
Spotted Hawkfish
Valentini Puffer
If this is a good stock in water order should I add fish? And how fast? What should I feed them? If I can't have this what is a better stock for my tank?

Personally I would drop the puffer. They need clams or hard shelled food. Can be aggressive and need a bigger tank IMO.
Otherwise the list is good to me.

I agree with dropping the puffer, definitely can be aggressive and can be hard to care for.
I would add peaceful fish first: clown, hawkfish, firefish and then coral beauty. Coral beauty's can be aggressive towards smaller fish, but are typically fairly peaceful.
I would feed a variety of algea, frozen brine/bloodworms and some marine/flake. So everyone gets what they want :)

Hi,

Add ONLY one fish at a time, 3 to 4 weeks apart....a quarantine tank is really helpful when stocking the new tank. It assures only healthy specimens, keeps those already in the tank healthy, and the ich parasite, which requires all fish removed for 8 weeks to clear it up, from finding it's way into the display in the first place. By using a QT it also helps to space adding too many fish too soon...the #1 cause of disaster for beginners, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
