Goodbye Big Mac

Lost our Purple Tang (" Big Mac") Monday :( . When I came home I immediately knew something was amiss. He was always in sight, had no fear at all. Checked my parameters and everything was okay. So I am keeping a close eye on the others. So far they are fine, showing no signs of illness or stress. Goodbye Big Mac. You will be missed:(.

I'm sorry about Big Mac. Some advice: check if you did something wrong and make sure all your other fish don't have that problem :(

Was he sick? Have spots or show any signs of illness? How long had you had him? I'm sorry you lost your fish.:(

Only had him about 6 months. I noticed he didn't seem to be grazing as much as he usually did over the weekend. No white spots or anything obvious. He was a really cool fish. I plan on replacing him but I'm gonna wait a couple weeks to see how the others do. I just checked my water again: `monia, `trites, `trates all 0; Alk - 5 meq/ltr; Ca - 400 mg/ltr; pH - 8.2; SG - 1.023; Temp - 80 d. I know the `trates are questionable @ 0 but that'a what both the Seachem and Fastest kits are reading.
