Goofy Clownfish

Hi,
I have 2 False Perculas and one of them has been acting pretty wierd. It seems to be trying to host my overflow box. It rubs up against it and hangs around it. When the lights go out, they spend the night behind it (it is a hang on type). What is going on?
Also, the same perc has started to get more black around the edges. Is that normal?
Finally, the same fish will swim around and then react kind of violently, like it got a shock. Any clue on that?
They both seem perfectly healthy otherwise, but they really are pretty goofy.

Clowns host many non living things . I have one pair that host one of my power heads and another that host my overflow with the cleaner shrimp . But I have some that host anemones or corals .

So if they have already "chosen" something else, like say the overflow box

when I get an anemone, is there a chance they will drop the box and go for the anemone? Thanks, J
