Gorilla crab

I found a good size one in the tank, and need to know how to get him out with out moving a lot of rock and stuff. The tank is heavily stocked with lots of encrusting SPS and I do not want to break it down to get the little "intercourser" out.He has taken a liking to the new growth and is beating up my corals pretty good.
Suggestions?

Tie a piece of clam onto a fishing line and drop it in there where you know it is. Let him grab hold and try to lift him out or at least to where you can get your net under him and scoop him up.

Yea the best way I could think of is tongs or luring him out with food.

i dunno... i battled with gorilla crabs quite a bit and they are not stupid. plus, they will grab the food and grab the rock and you will not lift it out by a string.
you're best bet is to pull out the rock that it is on and work with it out of water. not saying to pull out all your rock, but if you put some food (clam strip works) on one of your highest rocks in your wall, it will go looking for it. grab it once its out in the open
