First off I hope you acclimated him but I am sure that you did. The only thing that you can really do now is to turn the lights off in the tank and keep it dark for a while. The only other option I see is to try to catch either of the fish, preferble the tang and maybe partition him off from the rest of the tank. Shut the light off for tonight and check with you local fish store to see if they have a fish trap that you can borrow. Just feed through the trap and see if you can catch either of th fish. The yellow tang may be tought to catch, my dad wanted to catch his yellow tangs because he was getting two golden butterflys but the tang would n ot go in it. Everything else did but not the yellows, figures.

Also, an Emperor Angel is going to outgrow a 75gal tank. Just thought I'd mention that.

That's for sure. One online dealer suggests 220 gal minimum.. I don't think a YT belongs in a 75 either. I just don't see any way this will work long-term. A 4' tank really increases the chances of the YT becoming aggressive & territorial. It just isn't enough swimming room; IMO & IME.
To the OP: You'll save fish, your sanity, and $$ by researching fish before you buy them.

Put garlic on the food. White in a emperor is stress! And angels need sponge in there diet so don't feed him brine all the time. Most important is to get him to eat right now period. Try some algae sheets too.

I don't think any fish will eat anything until its ready. Almost any fish will eat brine shrimp, although (IMO) it isn't much of a food for them. (Spiulina enriched BS is, though.) Give him some time, its not at all unusual for a new fish to go for a week or more before eating.

Hello, I am new to this site.
I also had a problem with my yellow tang and a juvenile emperor, but it took about 1 week to manifest itself. Did you get a second one, and if so, has it been succesful? Thank you.
