Got A Question about my gravity test

i just tested my gravity today and the pointer when all the way up it was showing around 1.030. my Question is that i need to add more water to low it or add more salt to lower it ?? thank you
My tank have been runuing for about 3 month and it have 2 cleaner shimp and 40lb of live sand and 40lb of live rock.

Actually you need to remove some of the current tank water(that has salt in it)...and replace that with fresh water (that does not have salt)...this will lower your specific gravity...I'd start with about a gal at a time......let it stabalise then retest.....

you may also check it again and make sure there were NO teny tiny little air bubbles still on the arm. just another suggestion before you go and ad water and lower it too much.
