got a shark

I just got a bannded catshark.He is about 6 inches long.When should I start feeding him and what to feed him /squid.

Sharks should be feed fresh or frozen seafood(shrimp, silversides, krill, etc), never freshwater fish. what size tank do you have

I justhad one hatch from it's egg on thursday and has'nt eaten yet. I have the same question.

Feed him right away. Every two days and feed him squid.

hey Marco how long did you have it as an egg???
did you get to see it hatch??? what size tank do you have it in & w/ what??? how much did you pay for yours??? sorry, just curious about all things shark eggs from other peops...we have one that we have near spray bar form filter & by a PH for current...it will be at least 3 months before it hatches though...

I got him on valentines day as a gift for my wife.She was pleased but the tank we have was full, so we bought a 30 gallon for short money just until he hatches. He is blind, as all are

now my key board is unfrozen I can finish my post.
He is blind, as all are when they are born (or so I was told)I just missed his hatching, I think.I woke up and went to the tank and saw him right next to the egg and he was very bright and the bands were every clear.I payed $30.00 for him. The first one I had, made my tank cloudy. Needless to say he was dead, so I brought him back to my lfs and got a new one.I noticed that it was born about three weeks after the little sack in the egg disapeard.

thanks for the info MARCO..we had the same occurr, only we spent $60 on the 1st egg because it had a shark in it the retailer informed us <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" /> & was out of season & had been the only LFS w/ 1 at the time...hoping to do better this time around
